Description: Sized to the same dimensions as the iPad Pro to slide easily in a laptop case or backpack, our medium banana stalk fiber, bio-leather cover combo or dual journal features blank, unlined pages on one side of each spread and lined pages are on the other side. It was inspired by early nineteenth-century academic journals which allowed scholars to brainstorm and sketch freely on blank pages on one side and then rewrite, refine and organize their ideas on lined pages on the other side.
Today this format is perfect for us who are both left-brained and right-brained who dream in pictures, fragments, and ideas and then list out plans to turn them into realities. The unique double-sided snap closure opens from either side so that you can choose which side the lines are on…also a great feature for those of us who are left-handed. Perfect to take to work meetings for organizing/planning and capturing ideas that need to be notated and refined later. Give as a gift to encourage sculptors, architects, engineers, interior designers, and graphic novelists.
Nature of Handmade: Inconsistency in the banana stalks, wool and cotton fabric scraps combined with the nature of hand crafting create variations and imperfections in this item which add to its uniqueness and beauty. They are not defects.
